For example, check out mine! https://github.com/gponty :)
First, you need to create a README.md file in your profile repository. To do this, simply add your username to your GitHub URL, for example: https://github.com/gponty/gponty
Once you know this, you can find a multitude of resources to enrich your README.md, such as:
- https://github.com/x0rzavi/github-readme-terminal
- https://github.com/rahulbanerjee26/githubProfileReadmeGenerator
And if you’re lacking inspiration, take a look here: https://github.com/abhisheknaiidu/awesome-github-profile-readme
What we’re interested in, though, is adding your GitHub stats to your profile (like on mine: https://github.com/gponty/gponty).
For this, we’ll use the repository github-readme-stats: https://github.com/anuraghazra/github-readme-stats
Then, it’s straightforward—just copy and paste this line into your README.md (making sure to change the username):

Note: This will display your public stats. If you also want to include your private stats, it’s a bit more complicated. There’s a tutorial here: https://github.com/anuraghazra/github-readme-stats?tab=readme-overview#deploy-on-your-own
